Saturday at the School

Heartfelt thanks to our sponsor: The Heersink Family, The Curow Family and in memory of Mendy Jennings (Kelly Jennings)

School Open House and Tours – All Day – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   (Please click here: call for memorabilia)

Enjoy a leisurely tour of the school and see your old classrooms, auditorium, phys. Ed. facilities, library, and computer, science, and technology labs.  You will even be surprised to see some of the changes – the main office and guidance areas are now where the south cafeteria used to be!  Cruise the school for glimpse of the school past in the memorabilia displays of pictures, clothing, uniforms, awards and many other items doated or loaned for display by our alumni.  We hope that you will enjoy the memories brought back by our historic building and we know you’ll run into many of your fellow classmates.

Opening Ceremony – Marquee Tent – 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Be sure to attend as we welcome everyone back to Burlington Central and this official “Kick Off” of our 100th Anniversary Reunion events.

Family Lunch and Fun Fair – Football Field – 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

We are excited to have our Burlington Central Alumni bring their whole family out to enjoy the festivities and lunch (catered by food trucks) on the field and in the tent. Parents with young children, ages 5 to 10, are invited to join our student volunteers near the end zone between 10am - 2pm where a host of fun activities including: music and singing, face painting, obstacle races, cooperative games, etc. will be organized and run by these amazing student leaders.

This event’s organizing committee thought it would be fun to have a number of current and former Central bands get up during the Saturday afternoon festivities and perform a small set of songs on the Open Mic Stage out on the football field. If you are interested in performing, we ask you to complete this form: Saturday School Band/Performer Participation Form

Meet Your Former Teachers – Large Gymnasium – 12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

They’ll probably remember most of your names and will be really glad to see you!  Make sure to wear your name tag!  This will be a great opportunity to share memories of their classes and co-curricular involvement and let them know about your achievements since leaving Burlington Central.
