Wellness Expo May 3/2018

On May 3rd, 2018 at 6:15 pm, Adam van Koeverden will be live and on stage at Burlington Central High School. 

As part of the "Parents Reaching Out" grant awarded by the Ontario Ministry of Education, all of the public schools in Ward 2 made a decision to work together to promote wellness at a Community level. “Live Well: Family Wellness Expo” is a community event for all - from babies to baby boomers and beyond! This event is sure to provide new information, engaging demonstrations, fun activities, and free screenings - which help support physical, emotional and social wellbeing in our whole community. And the best part? It’s free. 

The doors open at 5:30pm and there will be a BBQ offered by M&M Food Market (for a minimal cost), Bodhi Bar smoothie samples, an information Expo, a Zen-Zone for kids, and a live cooking demonstration by Longo’s. Also feel free to join a drum circle, yoga class, meditation session and a fun YMCA Zumba class in one of the other free interactive sessions. Here's what to expect:

5.30pm Doors open, M&M Food Market BBQ + Kids Zen-Zone, Drop-In Information Expo begins
6.00pm  Interactive Sessions begin
6.15pm  Adam van Koeverden LIVE seating in Main Auditorium
8.30pm  Doors close, thank you for coming!

The School Councils from Central Public School, Burlington Central School, and Tom Thomson Public School invite your family and friends on Thursday, May 3rd from 5:30 pm to 8.30pm.  The community of schools looks forward to seeing you there. 

In the spirit of wellness, parking is very limited and walking is encouraged.
