May 1st - 31st

$20.00 Gown order to be completed on Cashless Schools.  

Thursday, May 4th

Valedictorian nomination forms due in the main office

To Be Determined

OSAP information assembly

Tuesday, May 16th

Grad Breakfast - 8:30 am in the BCHS cafeteria

Thursday, June 29th

Semester 2 exam review day.  This is the time to discuss any concerns regarding your final exam with the teacher.

Tuesday, July 4th

Final report card and/or transcript for Night School courses or courses done outside of HDSB must be submitted to Mrs. Wickens in Student Services by this date.

First week of July

Semester 2 Report Cards mailed home.  The Main Office and Student Services is closed for the Summer beginning Thursday, July 13th.  The Main Office and Student Services will reopen Monday, August 21st.

Wednesday, July 5th

OCAS/OUAC marks submission - includes your Final Marks for semester 2 and your graduation status as of July 4th

Wednesday, August 16th

HDSB Summer school grades sent to OCAS/OUAC.  Students are responsible for making sure marks from other boards are sent to OCAS/OUAC or Post-Secondary institution.

Tuesday, August 22nd

It is imperative that you bring in your official report card for any summer school courses taken outside of the HDSB. Your marks will only be added to your transcript once you have done this.  

Thursday, August 24th

Final Date to submit Community Service Hours to Mrs.Wickens in Student Services to satisfy the Graduation Requirement of 40 hours of Community Involvement.

Friday, October 6th at 3:30 pm

Commencement – If you have not received an invitation by September, phone the school and ask for Mrs. Kellar (905-634-7768).  


N.B. for Graduates:

If you receive an outside scholarship, award or bursary, please ensure that you share this information with Mrs. Kellar in the Main Office.  In this way, we can be sure that you will be recognized.


During the summer when the school is closed, proof of completed Community Involvement Hours can be faxed to 905-681-7888 or emailed to wickenst@hdsb.ca.  They will not be entered until the school reopens in August.   See www.hdsb.ca for requests for transcripts while school is closed in summer.
